Minster Micro Computers team up with Worcester Warriors Rugby Player Ryan Mills

Ryan Mills MinsterMinster are proud to announce that they have signed a sponsorship deal to support Worcestershire Warriors Rugby player, Ryan Mills, over the 2015/2016 season.

As part of our approach to local business initiatives, we have opted to take a fresh look and review how we could support their local community.

A sponsorship first, Minster Director Nick Marlow explained:  “Minster continues to experience positive business growth, which in turn has enabled our team to support many more local and regional community and charitable organisations.

“After much deliberation and looking at a range of local sponsorship opportunities, we decided on Worcester Warriors and Ryan Mills due to the clubs’ business synergy and Ryan’s positive personality both on and off the pitch which is a great example for young players looking to establish themselves in the sport.”

Mills joined Worcester Warriors in the summer of 2014 from Gloucester, proving to be a strong team player and helping the club to regain premiership status. Warriors continue to build, investing in ground refurbishments and are firmly establishing themselves as a successful Aviva Premiership club.

Ryan Mills commented: “We’ve been really pleased with our start to the season and we have been competitive in every game. It’s a fantastic time for Minster to be supporting the Club and I am looking forward to seeing them at our games this season.”

Business Expo Visitors Win Minster Micro Halloween Treats

It was all things Halloween as delighted ladies from the MFG solicitors’ team drew three of the many winning tickets in Minster Micro’s Halloween competition at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce business expo at Malvern’s Three Counties Showground on Thursday 8th October.

Exhibiting with a host of other local businesses from across the two-counties, visitors to Minster Micro’s stand lined up to take turns and see if they had won a sour-tricky treat or a winning ticket for a bewitching Halloween beer, and get their hands on one of their distinctive, orange must-have Minster bags.

Minster’s Head of Marketing, Maria Burdett said: “We decided to run a competition and launch our new eco-friendly cotton bags at the show. Our bright orange bags went down a storm, especially with the recent carrier bag charges brought in this month. We spoke with lots of different businesses across many sectors and industries, so it really helped to break the ice by running our fun Halloween competition giveaway.”

“Well done and congratulations to all our Halloween-treat winners and thank you to every new Minster bag owner who took the time to visit us on our stand.”

H&W Chamber Of Commerce Expo

After the success from the last Chamber expo we attended, we have decided to exhibit there again at the October Business Exhibition.

Held at the spacious Three Counties Showground, there is an expected number of 800 visitors attending (and counting!). We feel this is a great opportunity to meet new people, introduce ourselves to local companies across the region as well as showcase our expanding portfolio of offerings, including SAP Business One, Pegasus Opera 3 and our VOIP telephony product from 3CX.

As this event is held in the month of Halloween, we will also be playing trick or treat so come and say hi (or should we say ‘boo!) at our stand!

Whether you are a current customer or are looking at seeing what Minster and other local companies have to offer, we would love to see you there!

Please note, as this event isn’t held at the Minster offices, there is no need to register your attendance with us. For more information on the exhibition, please contact us.
